JAYPEE VIDYA MANDIR

 

Jaypee Vidya Mandir, Anoopshahr (JVM) is primarily a day school with small residential facility located at Anoopshahr in Bulandshahr District of Western UP. It is affiliated to CBSE and provides education from Nursery to class XII with science and commerce and humanities streams at +2 level.

HISTORY

Jaypee Vidya Mandir, Anoopshahr is run under aegis of Jaiprakash Sewa Sansthan (JSS), the service wing of the Jaypee Group. The Founder Chairman of Jaypee Group Shri Jaiprakash Gaur Ji visualized Jaypee Vidya Mandir, Anoopshahr for spreading quality education in the remote corners of India. In the year 2000, 10 acres of barenland was transformed into a “learner’s paradise”, a huge task in itself.

COURSE

The school building is divided into two wings, Senior wing has 16 class rooms besides one room each for Sports, Scout, labs, assembly hall, Examination Cell, and other Administrative areas. Junior wing has 12 rooms plus music and activity rooms where a large number of toys and activities have been made available for the tiny-tots to impart initial and early lessons through Montessori System. Children enjoy these lessons and generally don’t want to leave the toy room even after the final school bell. The Playground area designed for the tiny-tots makes playing very exciting for them even after the school hours. Children are thrilled while playing on swings, slides, see-saws, climbing ladders, merry-go-round etc. Tiny tots are under the direct supervision of their teacher’s while at play.

FACILITIES

Four most modern laboratories of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer are well equipped, not only as per the requirements stipulated by the CBSE but also with a number of additional facilities to meet the scientific curiosity of the students. In order to inculcate a scientific temperament in the students, each laboratory is provided with a large number of instruments, models, charts, equipment, expandable and non-expandable stores. The guidance by highly qualified and experienced science teachers is continually available to all students. Science projects are given to each student to sharpen their scientific skills. The school has set up a Mathematics lab with models and charts.

LIBRARY

The school has a spacious, well-furnished and modern library that is well stocked with rich collection of books on all subjects, magazines, journals and newspapers to meet the varied and intellectual needs of the staff and students. Library services are computerized and are provided by a full time qualified librarian. Library periods are allocated in the school time table for each class. A well-ventilated and illuminated reading room is a part of the library. Reading habits are inculcated amongst students by library supervisors. Library is a vital resource and it serves as a nerve centre for all the students’ pursuit.

TRANSPORT

School bus is available for students from Debai and on routes as approved by the management committee. Special school cycle rickshaws are also available on request, if available, for junior students from Anoopshahr. Parents pay for the transport facilities provided by the school. Utmost precautions are taken for transportation of children to ensure their safety.
